Results-Oriented Operations

  1. Intelligence.

Surveillance. A total of fourteen (14) intelligence-driven activities were conducted that resulted in the arrest of several personalities involved in cyber crime offenses.

Using Social Media Exploitation. For the covered period, fifty four (54) persons of interest (POI) were monitored from different factions of Abu Sayyaf cells in Basilan and Sulu through the use of social media exploitation and subsequently shared to concerned agencies for their intelligence requirement.

Cyber Security Monitoring. This Group was able to monitor forty-five (45) cases of websites defacement and further notified the concerned agencies for their appropriate actions and assistance.

1 Police operations against illegal online gambling by virtue of search warrant against CP ASIAN SOLUTIONS CORP located at 3rd Floor, Spring Cinema, P Burgos Street corner Lizada Street, Pasay City which resulted in the arrest of twenty six (26) suspects, to wit: Violation of Section 6,  Republic Act 10175 (The Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012) pursuant to Presidential Decree 1602 as amended by Republic Act 9287 (Illegal Gambling) February 18,2015
1 Entrapment Operations against group of persons for unauthorized selling of Globe Modem in the amount of three thousand five hundred pesos (3, 500.00) per modem. Said operation resulted in the arrest of JC Navasquez, Deio Añonuevo, Resurrection Catalan Nibres and Clede Doctolero Salvacion Jr. at Food Express, Crossing Makar, Brgy. 1 Police operations by virtue of the search warrant at Unit No. 118-A Bonita Street, West Kalayaan Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Olongapo City Zambales which resulted in the arrest of five (5) individuals and seizure of items used in committing a crime. 1 Police operations by virtue of the search warrant at Block 9, Unit E, Sta. Monica Homes, Camaya, Mariveles, Bataan. which resulted in the arrest of JONATHAN DELA CRUZ y JULIANO, 28 years old, single, Professor of Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Mariveles, Bataan. Violation of  RA 8293 (Intellectual Property Code) by, through and with the use of ICT Pursuant to Section 6, RA 10175 (The Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012). April 21, 2015
1 Follow up operations at Shangri-La, Makati City to verify the report pertaining to a fraudulent transaction being committed by Foreign Nationals through the use of FRUADULENT CREDIT CARDS that resulted to the arrest of Two (2) foreign Nat’ls, ALBERT ADOLF FORD, German National and SACHA BARON MARTIN, Swiss National involved in credit card fraud.

1 Implementation of Search Warrant No.  15-24902 at the owner/occupant of Block 33, Lot 36, Phase 9B,  Deca Homes Residence, Gamay St., Brgy Tacunan, Tugbok District, Davao City, which  resulted to the arrest of one Mark Marlon Millendez, 26 years old, occupant owner of the above mentioned address while on the act (In flagrante delicto) of copying, uploading, streaming, distribution and sharing of ABS-CBN copyrighted materials at website www.asia.pinoymovie2k.com and www.asia.Movie128.com and the confiscation of items used in committing a crime. 2 Simultaneous implementation of two (2) Search Warrant Nos. 2015-28 and 2015-29 at USL ULTIMATE Online Amusement Service, managed by Joven Ong and Donna Ong located at Valencia St., Brgy Model, Puerto Princesa City, Palawan and at EXTREME ZONE BADMINTON COURT & RECREATION CENTER managed by CHRISTINE TRINI ANN MENDOZA AGABAS, and her husband “aka” JUN AGABAS located along Rizal Avenue, near corner Burgos St., Brgy., Tagumpay, Puerto Princesa City, Palawan that resulted in the arret of Fourteen (14) individuals Violation of Presidential Decree 1602 as amended by Republic Act 9287 (Illegal Gambling), by, through and with the use of Information and Communications Technology pursuant to Section 6 of Republic Act 10175 (Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012).

1 Entrapment operation at Caltex Gasoline Station, National Highway, Canlalay, Biñan, Laguna that resulted in the arrest of Gilbert Don S Labayani, Jr., 24 yrs old, single and resident of Blk 8, Lot 1, #48 Sampaguita St., Pacita 1, San Pedro, Laguna. Said person was arrested while in possession of a skimming device. 4 Simultaneous implementation of Four (4) Search Warrants in different areas in Navotas and Malabon City involved in cybersex activity that resulted in the arrest of Five (5) individuals and confiscation of articles involved in their illegal activities. 1 Entrapment operation in the vicinity of Caltex Gasoline Station located at A. Mabini Street Maypajo Caloocan City, that resulted the arrest of one (1) LEWIN ANCHETA y BAAGEN, 30 years old, jobless, with former address at 16 Joffre Street, Halo Halo Street, St. Joseph San Juan City, and presently renting at 11 P. Guevara St. San Juan City who lured, groomed and persuaded the victim in creating child pornography materials. 1 Enrapment operation at Cellphone Center/Shop located at Public Market, Poblacion, South Cotabato that resulted to the arrest of  Rene Gustilo baylon and  Renjie Lopez Dela Cruz who are selling pornographic materials. 3. Community Relations.

Quality Service Lane. This Group continuously maintained the Operationalization/Management of the Quality Service Lane for easy access to all walk-in complainants.

Results-Oriented Investigation

  1. Cybercrime Investigation. For the period, a total of 847 cybercrime investigations conducted by this Group. There are 23 cases filed, 109 case closed and 715 still under investigation.
  2. Digital Forensic. As part of major deliverables of this Group, a total of 792 requests with 2,928 electronic evidence for digital forensic examinations. The digital evidence was received from PROs, NSUs and other government agencies, as shown:
