On August 8, 2025, at about 7:00 PM in Solana, Cagayan, operatives of the Kalinga Provincial Cyber Response Team arrested a 20-year-old woman, alias “Happy,” pursuant to a warrant of arrest.

“Happy” is facing charges for violation of Unjust Vexation in relation to Section 6 of RA No. 10175 (Cybercrime Prevention Act), with bail set at Php1,000.00.

Brigadier General Bernard R. Yang, Acting Director of the PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group, commended the unit for the successful operation. He also emphasized, “Online harassment in any form, no matter how minor it may seem, can have serious legal consequences. The PNP ACG will continue to act against those who use the internet to cause annoyance, distress, or harm to others.”
