On July 30, 2025, at about 10:20 AM in Masbate City, operatives of the Masbate Provincial Cyber Response Team arrested a 31-year-old woman, alias “Enang,” pursuant to a warrant of arrest.

“Enang” is facing charges for violation of Article 282 (Grave Threats) of the Revised Penal Code in relation to Section 6 of RA No. 10175 (Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012), with bail set at Php36,000.00.

Brigadier General Bernard R. Yang, Acting Director of the PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group, commended the unit for their relentless pursuit of justice. He also emphasized the importance of responsible online behavior, stating, “Those who use online platforms to intimidate or threaten others will be held accountable. The PNP ACG will continue to go after offenders and uphold the safety and dignity of everyone.”
