Vigan City, Ilocos Sur -Fifty-five Taiwanese and three more from mainland China were rounded up by law enforcement team after allegedly being suspected of engaging in cybersex at a resort, here. The foreigners were arrested by Vigan City Police operatives and personnel from the City Health Office around 9:30 a.m. last Monday at Mom’s Court Yard resort in Bongtolan, Vigan City.

Seized from the suspect were several electronic communication equipment, a computer unit and other paraphernalia, said Senior Superintendent Tito Dacpano, Chief of the Regional Investigation and Detection Management Division of the Regional Office 1 (PRO1). Dacpano said 44 of those arrested are men and 14 others are women. Superintendent Maximo Taclas, officer-in-charge of the vigan City Police Station, said the group was allegedly found engaged in cybersex during a random inspection of the tourism facility by the city’s Sanitation Team.
