CYBERCOPS from the Philippine National Police Anti-Cybercrime Group (PNP ACG) shortly before midnight Wednesday raided a cybersex den in San Jose del Monte City, Bulacan where they arrested 20 persons, 13 of them males accused of recording the sex act of their victims and threatening to send the video to their target’s families if their extortion demand is unheeded.

THE Philippine National Police Anti-Cybercrime Group (PNP ACG) today renewed its appeal to the public to be wary of the number 1 cybercrime perpetrators in the country: the so-called online scammers.

PNP ACG director Senior Superintendent Guillermo Lorenzo T. Eleazar pledged assistance and assurance in the wake of a Reuters’ report that poor Filipino families are pushing their children into performing live sex online for pedophiles around the globe in what has been called a modern version of child slavery.
